Jr. Lifeguard Program
Build confidence. Learn leadership. Get ready for the next step in aquatics.
Premier Recreation’s Jr. Lifeguard Program is a fun, active, two-week program for young swimmers who want to learn what it takes to become a future lifeguard. Participants build swimming endurance, practice water safety skills, learn teamwork and communication, and gain an introduction to lifeguard responsibilities in a supportive environment.
This program follows the spirit of the American Red Cross Junior Lifeguarding course, which is designed to help youth build the knowledge, attitude, and skills needed as a foundation for future lifeguard training. It does not certify participants as lifeguards or in CPR, First Aid, or AED.
